Boudreaux's Butt Paste
  • Do you apply this stuff before or after a logging session? I just found it at the Easton Walgreens. Not cheap, but could save a burly boardman's career...
  • It can be used at both times. Before, it will serve as a "barrier coat," after, it will be very soothing. Note, however, that it's quite sticky and is hard to wash out of regular clothing. Usual application is to babies with diapers. I suppose the use of adult diapers (a la Lisa Nowak) on a log canoe could decrease the discomfort level of bladders, not to mention reduce the number of trips to "church." On the other hand, the potential for sudden sodden diapers when the boards get dunked outweighs the utility, in my mind.

Apply in circular motions and do not for get the "taint".
  • Plus, make application of the paste a Squelch duty. Why get your hands greasy?
  • Whoa ... I didn't think Pete B. posted on these forums yet.

Are you saying that YOU want to apply that buttpaste then?

  • Excuse you. I am NOT a squelch, despite my nimbly pimbly ways.
