Hello,
I have some rather old prints by John Moll of the "log canoes." They are all of limited editions and from the late 1960s and early 1970s. One is 1974 # 30/150 another is older and in # 7/75. The others are stored as I have run out of "wall-space." Would it be possible to sell them at this event? It is my wish to sell them and give the money to Focus Adolescent Services, www.Focusas.com. This is a group that does minor things like save the lives of American children and have been doing so for about two decades. Every Marylander has a Moll. These are not the open ended productions that his "manager" had him doing in his later years.

Come on ye squelchies, primaries, shemarys, foremen, jib drivers (and Jib), bailers, faux-sailors, and wannabe Vlad the Impalers. Gather, ye Corbins, Tads, Johnson&Johnsons and all even those ubiquitous friends we all know who annually renew their aching desire to crew on a log canoe -- yet when put on the spot come up with excuses like "my sister has gingivitis" (thanks, Owen).

Tell everyone you know. Let's get these forums fired up once more.

I just spent an hour or so rereading a bunch of the old discussions on these forums, back when they had that newly varnished board smell -- and there is some classic reading within.

Let's try to get the word out to all involved in loggery to participate anew.

Hello,

Anyone looking for crew? I am a CBMM member and am looking to crew on a log canoe. I have over 15 years of boating and sailing experience to include vessels such as: J/22’s, J/24’s, J/35’s, Navy 44's, and others (nuclear powered submarine). I have experience trimming jib, main, spinnaker, as well as helm.

If you know of, or have any contact information, of a log canoe team looking for crew, I would really appreciate your help. I live in Queenstown, MD.

Thank you.
